If you are unwell and cannot work for 7 days or more (including bank holidays and weekends) then your employer may require a Fit Note from the GP.
You would not usually need a Fit Note if you cannot work for less than 7 days. You are able to Self Certify for this period of time.
You can request a Fit Note from Oakmeadow surgery using the online link below and clicking on Admin Request. Your Fit Note covers all days stated on it and if you require more time off from work, you will need to request another Fit Note once the current one has ended.
You do not need to see a Health Care Professional before returning to work when your Fit Note has ended.
