The Leicester and Leicestershire Dementia Support Service by Alzheimer’s Society.
Offering free information, advice, and support to people affected by dementia across Leicester and Leicestershire. This includes those experiencing memory loss, living with a diagnosis, and family members and carers who support them.
The service can help by:
- Providing information about memory problems, dementia, and the assessment process
- Offering emotional support and a listening ear
- Helping you understand what support is available locally
- Providing advice on maintaining independence and wellbeing
- Supporting family members, friends, and carers who may have questions or concerns
